Perception of far in Japan and Singapore

The perception of very far is very different between these two countries. I would say half an hour of train ride is far and one hour is very far in Singapore because the average train journey here seldom exceeds an hour~
I think that japanese people have boring life, that's why. You know, if Your life is fruitful, time is flying, and when life is boring - 200km is not a distance.
HAHA, But I think they have a lot more things to see along the way. Whereas in Singapore, there isn't much change in scenery and most of the train journey is inside the tunnel.
Yeah the Singapore's way is same as at Malaysia! Maybe we just don't like to walk! ;p
