Comics: The Trilogy

Actually I have a new interest these few years into Astrology and Chinese metaphysics. Both western and Chinese masters have predicted in 2019 that 2020 will be a turbulent year and starting of a new “era”. Both sides predicted that this will last for 3 years and we will have to change to adapt to it.

So in 2021, I would like to try drawing this new interest of mine and see if it will be as popular as my cultural difference comics and yoga comics. I’m still thinking about the format and if I need to bring back old characters like my Crystal ball (if any of you remember her in my comics 10 years ago).

This is the last comic strip of 2020. And I want to thank all of my readers here. Wishing all of you in good health and happy new year in advance! ๐Ÿ˜˜  Don't forget to join me on Patreon, IG, FB or Telegram too!

Comics: Working from home

So now that many people are working from home, I no longer get that curious envious look when I say I'm freelancing and work from home. Although it's true that there's more freedom and extra time saved from dressing up and commuting, but it also means that you have to be more disciplined to prioritise and complete tasks on time. Distractions are also plenty... such as snacks... social media.... shopping apps... netflix... youtube... kids and pets if you have them...

Do you all prefer working from home or to office?

๐Ÿง“๐ŸปHarlow niece and nephew, sorry Auntie Eva is late doing this #eggfriedrice comic.

๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸปIf you like my comic, smack the share button like how your mom smacked you when you were naughty. Or like how you smack a bag of rice... or smack a watermelon...๐Ÿ‰or honeydew...๐Ÿˆ

How to Dispose your mask correctly

How to Dispose your mask correctly

I have been notified of increasing usage of my comics: "How to dispose your mask correctly" pasted at public spaces, such as lifts and near trash bins. However they were often edited, without proper credits to me, and with their company logo on top of my artwork.

All comics that I drew are copyrighted artwork. While I allow usage for non-commercial purpose, my credits should be there and the artwork unedited. If companies would like to put their logo on my artwork, or replace my trash bin with theirs, they must contact me for permission and purchase of rights at . Otherwise it is considered as copyright infringement.

Comics: Mask criteria

It's compulsory to wear masks in Singapore now so definitely comfort is priority over effectiveness to block off the particles.

Comics: Contact Tracing and Privacy

There were many people who objected the contact tracing token when the Singapore government wanted to introduce it for people who have no data plan and iPhone users like me who cannot turn on bluetooth all the time. The token does not track location but whom you are in contact with for prolonged period via bluetooth signal. There's no GPS or location involved. I think many people have over-reacted thinking our government has so much resources and free time to know exactly where everyone went to 24/7 ๐Ÿ˜’

Comics: The New Norm

I think lipstick sales will fall...

P.S. If you are in Singapore and want to buy some fabric masks, you can consider buying from
Use code "STAYHOME" for 10% off.

They are a small business and used to bulk buy my books to sell at their retail stores, so I'm helping them back now. Business is tough because their retail outlets are all closed for 2 months and prolly for another month depending on our infection rate.

Comics: Online yoga class

I think my yoga teachers work very hard during online class sessions! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

I’ve been doing online yoga classes with Yoga Inc weekly and the rest of the days were 1-hour long morning walks. I find that it helps relief stress and any built up frustration from being trapped at home (aside from dehumidifying my body) and hope it works for any of you feeling the same ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

(I’m now on Telegram too! )

Comics: Only you know what's best

When I first started and book sales was bad, many followers advised me on what to do despite I was already doing what they had already suggested. Many times, you don't really have to listen to what other people say as only you know what is best for yourself.

P.S. Book sales is still not great XD Royalty payment might be delayed (if there's any) due to pandemic. However my digital commissioned work is going strong!
