He-he, it partially right for USA, depends on the issue. For example, if it is about salary cut off, there will be riot, but if it is about life on a Mars .. You may not hear a toad here, just because noise of chatting people will suppress croaking.
ReplyDeleteIs that strip related to Your last presentation? I mean, did You meet passive auditorium?
Eva san, You should avoid any physical contact with toads, because they are #1 reason for warts, especially on a head. Never put toad on a head, never kiss it, even if it is a prince.
ewww ...
I used to teach in Singapore so my students are quiet most of the time when I do presentations. But they fly around the studios during life drawing...
DeleteHaha... I would kiss it if it is a handsome prince XDDD
Yeah, I bet that everything starts flying around when You are drawing :) Just reflection of Your personality.
DeleteKissing frogs ... ewww .... how disgusting it ... :P
ewww...
If I can turn it into a prince, it's worth it XD
DeleteOh... I didn't know that Japan will be in silence just like what we Asians do!
ReplyDeleteYes they do! They don't like to stand out. But after one raise hand, the others follow...
DeleteFunny fact is that when that things happens we say that you can har crickets instead of toads.
ReplyDeleteYes many readers from US pointed that out on my FB page too :P
DeleteI personally think of frogs and toads because when I was young, I had to go to school early (6+am). I could hear loud croaking along a dark pathway after the bus stop...
Moreover, the toad expression is more funny heheh
