I recently bought this silicone cookware which came together with its magazine to teach you how to use it with your microwave. For the price of 1680yen, it's quite cheap to consider if you're paying for both the cookware and the recipe magazine.
I've always wanted to buy one of these miracle wonder because my life now is revolving around my 18-year old made in USA Panasonic microwave (which I inherited from a previous Singaporean dorm dweller). So now I don't need 20mins to steam a fish because it can be cooked within 4 mins, steamed inside this silicone cookware! :D
The taste was close to actual steaming, except it was a bit dry. Besides using it for cooking, I also used it to heat up my leftover food. However the plastic look made it seem as though I'm eating from a dog's bowl. But who cares? It's light, stack-able and heat resistant up to 230 deg Celsius.
