Sakura report at Meguro River 2013

Sakura at Meguro river 2013
So I thought I'd go to see another round of sakura at the famous Meguro River before they all fall. Weather had been crazy these days. Not only that sakura opens 2-3 weeks earlier than usual this year, but the temperatures go up and down drastically. Sometimes winter, sometimes almost summer... It's difficult to figure out what to wear when you go out.

You can only catch this floating sakura petal garbage after the peak...

Chilling out after some intensive walk and tried to read a book for my thesis. The berry cheese cake was awesome! Tokyo cakes are really fantastic, much better than Singapore! Maybe due to the fresher ingredients and "eyes for details".

Even the shop decoration is nice~

You can see my pretty photos of sakura in full bloom taken last Saturday here.

  1. Wow!
So many great photos! It's amazing how they are already in full bloom in Tokyo while they haven't even opened here in Kansai! ^^

    1. AH! I thought kansai will be first!
But I guess the temperatures really went up fast this year, but now it's super-cold again!
