It falls on 31st Jan this year and we continue to celebrate it for 15 days. My design is based on the traditional Chinese character of the Horse in a shape of a galloping horse with my Evacomics characters riding on it. Red was chosen as the background colour to symbolise prosperity and good luck based on Chinese customs. Wishing everyone a great Horse year! More wallpapers from Smashing Magazine here!

I used to do work out almost everyday in my tiny studio in Tokyo but ever since I move back home, my work out has become mopping the floor, thanks to the strong wind and dust here!

The case of the invisible driver (or commuter)

We are pretty much programmed to just get into the bus, tap our cards and dash in to look for a seat. But in Japan, drivers always give you a bow and a greeting to thank us for commuting with them. It was so uneasy for me at first to acknowledge the driver and bow back.

I was on Singapore local Chinese newspaper "联合早报"(Zaobao) today!!! :) The news article is a copyrighted material, so I will just talk about the article briefly. Her comics are updated every Monday and her Facebook had gained 19,600 likes since its establishment in 2010. She was aspired to become a cartoonist since young and was inspired by Japanese anime and manga. She even spent a year preparing a short story comic to enter into a comic competition held by Kodansha, Japan. Although she was selected for the initial round, she did not win the award in the end.
